Bovine colostrum is rich in immunoglobulins (IgG, IgA, IgM), lactoferrin, growth factors, and cytokines that directly support mucosal immunity. Proline-rich polypeptides (PRPs) modulate immune function by promoting Th1 and Th2 immune balance. An RCT in children with recurrent infections showed significant reduction in infections and hospitalizations.
