About

Curcumin, the principal curcuminoid of turmeric, inhibits NF-kB, MAPK, and NLRP3 inflammasome activation while activating the Nrf2 antioxidant pathway. An umbrella meta-analysis of 5,870 participants across 10 studies demonstrated significant reduction in CRP, IL-6, and TNF-alpha inflammatory markers.

How It Works

Inhibits NF-kB, MAPK, and NLRP3 inflammasome activation; activates Nrf2 antioxidant pathway; modulates macrophage, dendritic cell, T-cell, B-cell, and NK cell function; suppresses COX-2 and pro-inflammatory cytokine production.
